In her wedding dress on the dock, she watches her groom fuss over her 'best friend' in the gondola that's supposed to launch at sunset. As the light drains from the water, she gives him one last chance—then sends a twelve-minute ultimatum to another man. The clock is running, and only one of them will reach the dock in time.
